What could be a better way for a mid-week unwind than taking a yoga class with a bit of beer tasting? TruFusion, a new fitness tenant at The Gateway, offers a yoga class with beer for any adult yogi who is interested in inversions and imbibing (or not). Yoga instructors from TruFusion will lead this series with a power flow yoga, integrating optional beer drinking postures. All levels are welcome.
“We always like to add an unexpected twist here at The Gateway so we incorporated the option of beer into our free weekly yoga classes, and it was an immediate hit,” said Jacklyn Briggs, director of marketing for The Gateway.
The Gateway started this series four years ago as a way unwind and break up the week. It’s a community gathering space and a fun way for local residents to meet people or attend with friends.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Yoga and Beer back to The Gateway for a fourth season,” said Briggs. “We love adding a twist to community events and Yoga and Beer has been a welcome way to break up the work week since its launch four years ago.”
In featuring the class, The Gateway is introducing the brand-new TruFusion.
“TruFusion has such a unique and specific framework for the fitness classes, and we love to let people experience the high-quality instructors and effective training programs,” said Brett Cortese, co-owner of TruFusion.
So grab your over 21, beer-drinking, yogi buddy and bring a mat. Classes are held Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. at The Gateway 12 S. 400 West on the upper level from The Olympic Plaza. Yoga is free, beer is not.
