Scenic Utah invites photographers of all skill levels to enter the 2nd annual “City to Summit” Photo Contest, running from Sept. 5 to Oct. 15. Our competition is open to anyone who shares Scenic Utah’s commitment to preserving and celebrating our state’s stunning natural landscapes, pristine night skies, and the unique character of our rural and urban communities.

Participants can submit up to five photographs in any of this year’s six categories: Scenic Night Skies, Scenic Streetscapes, Billboard Blunders, Rural Utah, Scenic Byways & Backways, and Nature in the City. A ‘Fan Favorite’ winner also will be decided by public vote and announced alongside the six category winners. Public voting runs for 10 days, from October 16 to 26. Winners will be announced Nov. 1.

Winners in each category will receive a $100 cash prize and gifts from Utah merchants who support Scenic Utah’s mission of reducing visual pollution and protecting our scenic resources now and for future generations.
