Odyssey Dance Theatre announces competitions, workshops

Odyssey Dance Theatre announces a brand new Workshop, Competition and Showcase experience like no other. It will be held Jan. 26-28 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

This is a unique opportunity to work with and get meaningful critiques from world class dancers who are members of the professional Jazz/Ballet Company Odyssey Dance Theatre and their Artistic Director, Derryl Yeager. On Saturday, Jan. 28, there will be a special round-table discussion/question and answer workshop for parents that will include Yeager and Christina Aguilera’s mother, Shelly Kearns. This workshop is designed to help parents understand the opportunities and the pitfalls in the turbulent waters of the entertainment world. Learn how to best prepare your child and your family for a show business career. Only parents with registered children at the competition may attend.
