Wednesdays, Jan. 4 through Feb. 29, 11 a.m. – Self Esteem Workshop. Discover or rediscover your personal sources for well-being. Join us for these interactive workshops that will explore the cultivation of self-strengthening beliefs, as well as how to create an optimistic view of self in meeting life events and challenges. Setting unique, personal goals will be created as part of the workshop.

Jan. 22, 11 a.m. – Christmas Carols. Caring for Kids Daycare’s pre-K class will be in the dining room to sing Christmas Carols. Please join us in supporting their sweet little voices.

Jan. 24, 1 p.m. – Bingo. With Frank from Right at Home. It is free and everyone is welcome to join us in the dining room.

Jan. 25, 11 a.m. – 18 Means for Living below Your Means.

Jan. 23, 8:30 a.m. – Haircuts with Barber Ray. Walk-ins are welcome; $5.

Jan. 31, 3 p.m. – Tenants Association Meeting. In the dining room. Watch for fliers with more information.

1 p.m. – Art Markopolis. Learn history behind the art. Mark is an experienced artist, who will go over a different professional artist each week briefly and then go into open art with acrylics. Mark also works with oil paint, watercolor and much more.

Jan. 25, 10:30 a.m. – Senior Book Club. Join a librarian from the Columbus Library for book club.

Jan. 25, 11 a.m. – Foot Care for Diabetics. Diabetes support and education class with Marie Hanson, R.N. of Wasatch Home Health.

Jan. 26, 11:15 a.m. - Dragon Cake Walk. Celebrate Chinese New Year. No charge.

Jan. 27, 9 a.m. – Free Pancake Breakfast.

Fridays in Feb., 10:30 a.m. – Digital Camera Class. The class will cover how to use your camera, using the computer and securing and storing your files. It’s easier than you might think! A photography class will be held later this spring.

Feb. 1, 9:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Senior Day at the Legislature. Free trip on our bus to the capitol. Please call as soon as possible to reserve lunch and a seat on the bus.

Feb. 6, 11 a.m. – Entertainment. By the delightful pianist and vocalist, Kara Lyn Roundy.

Feb. 13, 11 a.m. – Valentine Week Party. With one our favorite singers, Eddie B.

Feb. 15, 11:30 a.m. – The Benefits of Hospice and How It Works. Presentation by Frank Barton from Right at Home. Questions welcome.

Feb. 17, 11:30 a.m. – Heart Health. Presentation by Marie Hanson of Wasatch Home Health. Marie has a masters in nursing and a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science.

Some of our regular classes and activities include individual computer classes for all levels; billiards; tai chi; line dance; bingo; circuit training on the treadmill, elliptical or recumbent bicycles; wii sports; harmonica; choir; art class; arts and crafts; crocheting; cooking classes; exercise classes; weight training; ping pong; horse shoes; pinochle; Red Hat Ladies; book club; electronic skills class (includes computers, digital cameras and cell phones); and other programs. Call for a schedule.
