Art Exhibit. Chaos Creates Form: Winter, photos by Kirk Marshall. Marshall was introduced to the camera at a young age by his amateur photographer father. His first experience behind the lens was in college when he took several photography classes. He enjoys nature and architectural photography and currently resides in Salt Lake City where he is working on a travel guide to the scenic byways and backways of Utah.

Amigos y Libros. “Leonora” por Elena Poniatowska. ¡Únase a un grupo de lectura en español! El grupo se reúne una vez al mes, brindando la oportunidad de entablar un diálogo con amigos sobre libros y autores en su propio idioma. Love Stinks: An Anti-Valentine’s Zine Workshop. Love stinks. It’s over-rated and over-celebrated. So why not get creative about it? Join us this February at Sprague to for an anti-Valentine’s Day zine-making workshop. Heartbreak? Lost love? Loneliness? Tooth aches? It’s all fodder for your Love Stinks zine. No need to worry if you’re a newbie–we’ll have staff and experts on hand to help with every step, from inspiration to publication.

LEGO-Mania Display. Kids with LEGO-Mania are invited to bring their own LEGO creation to display at their favorite City Library location. Drop off your design at any City Library between Feb. 4-11. Models will be on display in our libraries from Feb. 13 through Mar. 24. Ribbons will be awarded to each participant. One entry per child.
