SHCC Map

A motion to amend the Sugar House Community Council by-laws and neighborhood map was passed at the December council meeting. It states that the neighborhood of Wasatch Hollow and Bonneville neighborhoods are no longer recognized. SHCC Vice Chair Judi Short lives within the Emerson boundaries, so that neighborhood is being provisionally included in the SHCC boundaries. In the past, planners would go to town meetings throughout Sugar House and Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake City Planning Division decided to divide Salt Lake, so that planners and developers would visit the meetings and councils where the land and development issues pertained. The division was made at 1700 South. It was initially discussed in May 2005, but it wasn’t voted on until December 2011 as a matter of housekeeping. Image courtesy of Sugar House Community Council.
