Fairmont Aquatic Center to host Halloween Carnival

Looking for Halloween festivities for your ghouls and boys? The Fairmont Aquatic Center and Salt Lake County are teaming up with Sterling Furniture, The Boys and Girls Club of Sugar House and Coca-Cola to sponsor the Fairmont Aquatic Halloween Carnival on Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 1044 E. Sugarmont Drive.

The cost for the event is $4 per child. “There will be games and activities, prizes, snacks, treats and a spook alley,” Fairmont Event Coordinator Amber Morgan said. “The charge will also include open plunge.”

Fairmont has hosted several Halloween events over the years but this will be the first spook alley, according to Morgan. “There will also be an award for the best costumes that show up,” she said. “Each child who comes in a costume will get a free bounce-back pass for November.”

Admission is limited to the first 150 children. If swimming, children, ages five and under, must be accompanied by an adult. Children, ages two and under, must wear a swim diaper
