The Salt Lake City Library Board is looking for a new board member to fill a vacancy. The board is made up of members from around the city. There currently is not a board member from District Seven. This board oversees the library budget, including expenditures from the library fund, construction, lease, sale of library buildings and land, and the operation and care of the libraries and branches. The board also produces an annual report to the Salt Lake City Mayor and city council on the condition and operation of the library, including financial statements.
